Dora Howard, Executive Director for Pioneer Village, a Radiant Senior Living Indpendent and Assisted Living community in Jacksonville, Oregon, will be honored with one of the year’s top honors at the Oregon Health Care Association awards ceremony. Howard has been named the Administrator of the Year for Community Based Care. The ceremony will take place on September 18th at the Oregon Convention Center during the Oregon Health Care Association’s annual convention.
These awards recognize the achievements and commitments of facility administrators and executive directors whose leadership have improved their facilities overall and who demonstrate outstanding innovation, achievement, and a high standard of ethical behavior in their provision of high quality person centered care.
This is the second year in a row that Pioneer Village team members have been recognized with top awards. Last year, Pioneer Village’s Beondi Hewson won the “Above and Beyond Service Award” and Regina Burton won the “Caregiver of the Year Award” while Howard was honored with a certificate of nomination for Administrator of the Year.

Howard has worked with Pioneer Village over the course of eight years where she gained experienced in several areas of community-based care working as a caregiver, med tech, activities director, dining room supervisor, assistant administrator and executive director. Howard was awarded the 2017 Radiance Award from parent company, Radiant Senior Living, for her dedication to care and excellence in exhibiting the shared values of Radiant Senior Living and its communities.
