Carlynn Chewing, Caregiver at Radiant Senior Living Assisted and Memory Care Farmington Square in Salem, Oregon, will be honored with one of the year’s top honors at the Oregon Health Care Association awards ceremony.  Howard has been named the Caregiver of the Year.  

These awards recognize the achievements and commitments of facility administrators and executive directors whose leadership have improved their facilities overall and who demonstrate outstanding innovation, achievement, and a high standard of ethical behavior in their provision of high quality person centered care.

Carlynn has worked with Farmington Square for approximately nine years now and hasn’t missed a single day of work in that time. She has a contagious passion for giving of herself for residents and families. Her nomination was due to her work as a model employee, caring individual and her talent in her role as caregiver.

"Beyond her love of the residents and her dependability, she really is truly talented at her role as a caregiver. She is self-motivated to tend to the needs of her residents. She is calm and collected as she works in even the most stressful of situations. Carlynn truly leads by example," said the Executive Director of Farmington Square.
